Shot for being the main witness in father’s murder
Regarding the incident, Ayush Kumar Gupta told that he was drinking water at the handpump in Belaur with his friend Anshu. Then Vinod Chaudhary, nephew of Butan Chaudhary and others, who were hiding in the bush, suddenly started firing, in which two bullets hit me. Ayush said that his friend Anshu was also shot and injured. Injured Ayush told the reason for the incident that a year ago, my father, a Panchayat Samiti member, was murdered by Butan Chaudhary and others. I am the main witness in that case. For several months, these people were pressurizing me not to testify. Because of this an attempt has been made to kill me.
